STRUCTURAL ANATOMY
CHRISTOPHER BRIZZARD
In this four-week course, you will be introduced to the core concepts of artistic anatomy, including figure proportion, bony landmarks of the skeleton, major muscle groups of the torso (front and back), and use of the centerline. Combining short lectures with hands-on practice and drawing from a live model, this course will give you the foundations to build your figures from the inside out and to draw the figure with authority.

FUNDAMENTALS OF FIGURE & PORTRAIT: Drawing

An extended course that will introduce you to the fundamentals of portrait and figure drawing, including developing an understanding of the structure and anatomy of the head and figure, using gesture to set up your drawing, the importance of understanding light and shadow. We will regularly be drawing from the live model.
