In this extended course of study, students will approach drawing and painting through studying a wide variety of skill sets that contribute to developing the artist’s abilities as a whole, including drawing, structure, values, form and color. Significant time will be spent in each area doing exercises that will strengthen one’s understanding and execution of the concepts. Content will be tailored to fit each student’s needs and pacing. Foundational elements are essential for the visual artist and this study program will give you the opportunity to dive deeply into each area.
