Oklahoma Academy of Classical Art is a private art school dedicated to teaching drawing and painting using both classical and contemporary techniques. Our atelier programs and 4 to 6-week courses are designed to train students at any level to develop strong drawing and painting skills, allowing students to create, express and communicate in exciting ways.

FORM PAINTING: The Figure

​This 4-week course is centered around a classical painting technique called the open grisaille.   Starting from a gesture and painting directly from life, students will practice building figures in a variety of poses.  Join this course to study the figure with Chris Brizzard, who studied at Studio Incamminati under artists trained by Neslon Shanks.
