“Upon retiring at age 70, I wanted to pursue a second career as an artist. My objective was to become an oil painter. As a “mature student” I knew I needed some excellent training to begin. To my very good fortune, I met Leslie Lienau, art teacher and founder of CCA. I found that Leslie’s teaching, with her art education and drawing/painting skills, to be exactly what I needed. Using the Atelier method, she teaches “learning to draw by learning to see”, before proceeding to painting.
