As with other classical and traditional courses of study like ballet and classical music, your child can learn to excel in the visual arts. A practical age appropriate curriculum is used to teach the basic principles of line, shapes, shadows and light, and perspective through demonstration and individual attention.

YOUNG ARTIST COURSES

​The goal of Young Artist Courses are to lay the beginning foundations of art in the classical tradition of systematic training.  Elements of line, shape, form, value, color, space, and texture are foundational both in learning to draw and in understanding the visual language of art. These elements will be taught and applied using the most basic techniques. The young student will also be introduced to various drawing mediums and introduced to the use of color.
